About Me
Hi, I’m Donna Samuels — a photographer, music lover, wildlife enthusiast, and storyteller with a camera.
My journey began during lockdown, quietly observing wildlife and capturing moments on my phone. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion — and now, a professional career.
Today, I photograph wildlife, concerts, and events across the UK. My work includes major shows such as Bedford Summer Sessions and Lincoln Castle Live, capturing artists including Sting, Simply Red, The Jacksons and Paloma Faith. I’ve also worked as a tour photographer with Rock Choir and on national and local press assignments.
Wildlife remains at the heart of what I do. My passion has taken me from local landscapes to Costa Rica, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Uganda — where I now lead small, guided wildlife photography trips for the over 50s.
My images have been featured by the BBC and in national newspapers, and I’ve been a finalist in the British Wildlife Photography Awards for the last three years.
